Among the more intriguing commercial space vehicles on the drawing board is Excalibur Almaz, whose backers propose to use leftover vehicles built for a Soviet military space station program that died aborning in the 1970s. The principals in the company include Art Dula, an old hand in the field of space commercialization, former astronaut (and Air & Space contributor) Leroy Chiao, and former cosmonaut Vladimir Titov, who trained for Almaz missions back in the day.

This newly released video focuses more on the business-friendly climate in the Isle of Man than it does on the project's technical details, but at least it gives us a look at the capsule:
