From the Smithsonian Museums
Miguel Montalvo is an intern in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History’s. Although he is a marketing professional, he is passionate about the natural sciences. His life’s objective is to become an advocate for science and help bridge the divide between the scientific community and the general public. As a next step in his career, Miguel will pursue a graduate degree in biology, concentrating in functional morphology. When he is not helping create new connections within the scientific community at the museum, he enjoys the outdoors, going on bird watching trips and attending physics lectures.
