From the Smithsonian Museums
Adriana Burkins is the Education Associate of Exposure Programs at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum and supports programs that introduce audiences of all ages to design. She received her MA in Art History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her BA at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Adriana has worked in various museums including the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has had her work published in Bridging Communities through Socially Engaged Art (2019).
