Dating a Dinosaur

It could certainly be said that I have a great affection for dinosaurs, but it is more of a deep fascination than what you could truly call "love." The character Melanie on the 2008 BBC series The Wrong Door, however, had a much stronger draw to dinosaurs.

I am well aware that today is April 1st, but this is no joke. Even though the BBC has a long history of pulling April Fool's jokes, The Wrong Door was a real series with a six-show run. Unfortunately, though, Melanie and Philip the Tyrannosaurus did not make it to the end of the series. While Melanie was looking for commitment, Phil was too busy terrorizing the neighborhood and tearing people to shreds. I can't imagine that he could brush his teeth to remove the smell of his lunch since he had such puny arms, either.
