Snow Day, Part 6: All Museums Closed
Due to another large snowfall, all Smithsonian museums on the mall are closed today, including National Zoo, Udvar-Hazy Center & Heye Center in New York

Ok, this is getting to be a little silly. Due to whiteout conditions and another large snowfall, all Smithsonian museums on the mall are closed today, as are the National Zoo and Udvar-Hazy Center. The Heye Center in New York is also closed.
So, since snow is so much prettier when you're not walking in it, please enjoy the above photo captured by friend/husband of the blog, Ryan Reese. Stay safe, keep warm and the Smithsonian will open to receive visitors as soon as it's able!
